In terms of duck fat recipes, duck fat popcorn might be the easiest and most rewarding. Cook the popcorn the same as usual but make one small change. Use duck fat as your cooking oil. The popcorn is super rich, light, and delicious. Enjoy it plain or go all out on the duck fat popcorn toppings.

 
 

Ingredients

3 tablespoons DUCKCHAR Duck Fat
1/2 cup popping corn
Salt (to taste)
Maple syrup (to taste)

Cooking Directions

Step 1 - In a large heavy pan like a dutch oven, heat duck fat over medium high heat.

Step 2 -
Add 3 kernels to the pan. When they pop, add the rest of the kernels and cover. Shake the pan occasionally. Remove from heat after the kernels have stopped popping consistently. We prefer to take the duck fat popcorn off the heat even if there are a few kernels left to ensure that nothing is burned.

Step 3 - Add your favorite duck fat popcorn toppings and enjoy.
